Music blogs, as the name suggests, are basically, blogs about music. They may include but are not limited to- lyrics of songs, the latest songs that hit the charts, and rants and reviews about the latest music artists. Food blogs are for the food critics within us. They are usually about the hippest food places for our dining pleasure. Some food blogs are very comprehensive that they even have tips for cooking the perfect meal, food recipes, and sumptuous food.

Travel blogs are for those who have traveled the world. Travel photos, destinations, including useful guides on places to visit and where to stay in a certain country are some of the information listed in these types of blogs. Most travel blogs also have actual photos and videos of places the blogger has visited.

Art blogs, on the other hand, are used to present the different artworks available. Be it on painting, photography, or just plain fashion, these are fairly popular in the blogging industry. Blogs that showcase the artwork of different artists can also be used to show the world their creativity in the form of paintings and pictures, among others. Sketch blogs are also used by some of designers to share their gorgeous sketches to the public. Fashion blogs have tips on mixing and matching outfits, and also the upcoming fashion trends. Gossip blogs are to keep us updated on the latest buzz on our favorite celebrities. They include the latest movie trailers, movie reviews, and even the most popular flicks on DVD. Celebrity blogs, which are probably one of the most visited kinds of blogs, are usually maintained by the stars themselves. They show us that they are just like us, who live normal lives when they don’t have movie or commercial shoots.

There are still a lot of kinds of blogs, and since their increasing popularity, the categories just keep growing. So if you have free time off from work, why don’t you start jotting down your random thoughts, and share it to the whole world? Time to start your own blog!
